I moved to West Seattle in July from Bozeman, Montana. In Montana, I worked for the City of Bozeman Recreation Department for four years where I planned, prepped, ran, and cleaned up after a variety of themed programs for youth between the ages of 2-15. I also regularly baby-sat for five families and took care of children, ages 3 months-12 years. I have been certified in First Aid and CPR for infants, children and adults for four years, with my latest re-certification with the Red Cross being this past June. I am enthused about working with children because of their innocence, curiosity, and readiness to learn. Witnessing a child experience an occurrence or come in to contact with something unfamiliar for the first time, and the emotion and excitement that comes with it, is what drives me. In January 2010, I plan to enroll at the Art Institute of Seattle and take a few classes in lieu of obtaining a degree in fashion marketing and management. Please note I have a nanny position Tuesday through Thursday and am not available during the week. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need weekend child care though. Thanks!
