Hi, my name is Devon! I am a senior in high school and I am a responsible, experienced baby sitter. Being around children has always been a big part of my life and something I really enjoy. Ever since I was 7 my mom has provided child care in our home so I became used to having babies around. I have been baby-sitting for numerous families for the past six years. During the winters I work for a ski school teaching ski lessons to children aged 4 to 6. I intern in a first grade classroom four hours a week as part of a course called careers in education. For the past few summers I have organized day camps for preschool students in the area. I just returned from a month long trip to Ghana in west Africa where I worked in an orphanage teaching lessons and caring for babies. I love working with children and I plan to become a teacher when I grow up. Thank you for considering me for your child care needs. I do not have my own car but depending on where you live I may be able to bus/bike or get a ride to your home.
