I have nannied and babysat in the Seattle area for the past 4 years while attending the UW. Working with children is wonderful: everything from helping them learn to eat semi-solid foods, to teaching them their first words, to playing learning games with them, to helping them learn addition and fractions, to finding adventures in Seattle on a rainy day. The different families I have worked with presented me with the opportunity to care for children ranging in age from 4 months to 12 years. All present different needs and challenges which I feel I have become very familiar with, and am very adept at dealing with now.
