Hi there~

I'm a 29-year-old self-employed, single mom of one with a tea cup pup. I've been taking care of children since I was 13 and have been a paid live in nanny, too. I have a very flexible schedule, so I thought I'd see if anyone is in need of good quality state of the art child care on the west side.

We have a spacious townhouse with enough room for five more kids. We have an art studio, a playroom, big living room, a yard, and a pool in the summertime, with parents approval of course.

Since I work from home, I have the technology to allow you to see, hear, and interact with your kids any time of day via the internet. I welcome it as well as children of all ages. I love to teach through art and play.

Snacks and meals will be provided, as well as any special needs or requests. My hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., but I am flexible on time and days, so feel free to just ask. Occasional weekends or weeknights is fine by me.

I have excellent references if needed. Rates are negotiable and can be determined individually, as a group, full time, or part time, with either a flat weekly fee or hourly.

I'm the second oldest of four kids and have always been the most responsible one. In fourth grade, I was deemed "gifted" and was put in classes that were at eighth/ninth grade levels.

I come from very large families on both sides with both parents having seven siblings and over 25 grand kids each side. So naturally, baby-sitting was required seeing as I was one of the eldest on each side.

I became a single mom at age 21 and have since accomplished things like going to NMSU for a while with a major in childhood education, going through a CNA course, doing an internship for Memorial Medical Center, becoming CPR certified, completing a child care/parenting course for 19 weeks, as well volunteering at my son's school on a weekly basis for one to five days since he was in pre-K at the age of 4. He's now 8, and I still go one to two days a week.

So if any of this has intrigued you to find out more, please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. The only thing I ask is that you drop off and pick up your kids at our home, so I can also care for my son. If you live close enough, we can pick them up if needed.
