As a second-year public relations student at San Jose State University, I'm trying to find a way to incorporate children in to my career because I find the work to be so fulfilling and rewarding. I've spent most of my life at the child care provider's house next door. I've helped her with entertaining grade-school kids and changing infant's diapers. I am a Sharp and Red Cross certified baby sitter with knowledge of CPR and the Heimlich. I was the child care provider at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church watching a group of six kids ranging in ages from 6 months to 6 years. The 4-year-old and 24-month-old I baby-sat for once a month jumped up and down when it was time for me to come.
