I truly love children and have a lot to offer. I like to incorporate associative play, as well as lots of make believe. I try to be fun, and light and stick to my boundaries. I don't believe that nannies should punish children. I personally prefer positive reinforcement and/or distractions. I believe that interactive learning and lots of singing and dancing are necessary for all ages. My favorite things to do include turn dinner into a cooking lesson, taking kids on nature walks, trips to open air markets, exciting adventures on SF public transportation, and of course, exploring all the wonderful parks this city has to offer. I play the guitar and the piano and love to teach elementary sign language. I take my job very seriously and I feel competent with all ages and types of personalities. In my most recent experience being a nanny, I have come to realize that there is no substitute for mom or dad, but I would hope to work side by side with parents or parent to help maintain a healthy and happy home.
