I have been caring for children since I was a teenager but did not discover that I wanted to start working as a nanny as a career until just after college. Between long term family care, temp work, and even summer camp programs, I have had the luck to have experience with almost all ages. The youngest that I have cared for is around 2 1/2 months all the way up to late school-age. Thankfully, I've also been able to stay with many of my families for long enough to really form bonds with the kids that I care for. I love everything about child care, from the energy of young kids, to the more academic development aspect, to being able to be a part of a family. In the long term I plan to eventually apply for a master's degree in child and family therapy, but until then I hope to find a wonderful family to work with!

I spend most of my days painting, playing harp and trying to keep up with my Chinese. I am also an avid reader. One of my favorite things is getting children into books early, even before they are interested in formal reading.
