Ever since my sophomore year of high school, I have loved going across the street to my neighbors' house to baby-sit their three children, all two years apart. I have also baby-sat for many families throughout high school as well as during holiday breaks in college. I am comfortable with large groups of children and have helped out at several birthday parties. I also love taking kids to the park and being active outside with them, especially during summer. Arts and crafts are also really fun to do and I love to bake/cook as well. I am familiar with housework/meal preparation and taking kids to and from activities like summer camps or swimming lessons. I love to have fun, but am also extremely reliable and responsible. I am easy going but can also enforce rules and know how to say no. I am also studying French and can tutor children who are in elementary French. I love kids and can't wait to have my own someday (even though that will be years away!). I have completed many community service projects throughout high school and in college as a part of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. I was also a Girl Scout for eight years during which time I mentored many younger Girl Scouts.
