Hi! My name is Megan, and I provide baby-sitting and nanny services for San Antonio, (I live in the Stone Oak/Canyon Springs area). I am currently a freshman in college and work about 35 hours a week Monday-Friday as a Household Manager/Nanny for a family of three children in Alamo Heights. My duties include overseeing and managing household staff, authorizing and maintaining household budgets and calendars, managing household budgets, running errands, picking up kids from school and taking them to all activities. I also help with homework, planning events and preparing for holidays and birthday parties. I am looking to babysit after 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and anytime on the weekends. While in high school, I was a part of the varsity dance team, as well as an elementary teacher assistant. I have over six years of baby-sitting experience and two years of nanny/household manager experience. I am very responsible and have my own car and am 100% drug and alcohol-free and do not smoke. I am also a Christian. I am very family-oriented and absolutely love to travel, shop, go to the lake, and involve myself in many community organizations. I am very outgoing, fun-loving, and sociable. I love to do fun activities with kids such as cooking, crafts, sports, games etc. I have taken child and family development classes at school, which have included seminars on shaken baby syndrome, child abuse and infant and child CPR. I have taken the baby sitter's training course, and was American Red Cross infant, child CPR and First Aid certified but my certification has expired. I do remember how to do CPR but am willing to re certify. I have worked with kids from newborn to 14 years of age. I have also volunteered in the special education classrooms at elementary and middle schools. I understand that finding a reliable and trustworthy baby sitter can be difficult and I find that most parents with young children prefer to leave their child in the care of an experienced sitter.
