Hopefully like everyone that cares for children, I love children! Every child has their own personality and I enjoy meeting that personality. I have four of my own, two boys and two girls, two teens and two elementary age, so I've been there, done that and doing it again. While I lived in California I had my own home registered day care. I cared for children ages newborn-10 years of age. We went on field trips, picked up children from their school for after-school care, helped with homework and issues. I changed and fed infants and toddlers. We did arts and crafts I was paid by the state. When I came to Texas I worked as a teacher at a child learning center. My class was a newborn -18 months. I had weekly lesson plans. I did changings, feedings and napping all on a schedule. I transported after-schoolers as well.
