Are you looking for a occasional baby sitter? Someone you can call if you need to step out for a few hours or more? I know I can help you with that! I started baby-sitting when I was 15, during which I cared for two toddlers every Wednesday for a year. The parents attended church in the evenings and decided that I was suitable to care for their two boys for four hours alone. At 16 years old, I baby-sat almost every weekend and even attended a family trip to Las Vegas. Their newborn baby was probably the one who taught me the most. I learned how to really take care of a baby and learned the responsibility that came with having one. More recently, I have been taking care of two little girls who are 8 and 4 years old. This I believe was every weekend for almost eight months. I also baby-sat every other weekend for an 8-year-old while her father went to work from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. I really love kids and I think my family and those close to me would tell you, mainly because I still hold onto child-like fairy tales. It's great to see a little person not worry and laugh, sing and play, just because. It's really a blessing to have children, and although my mother would agree that I'm still too young and HAVE to finish college, I can't wait to have a family of my own. If you accept me as your baby sitter, I promise to take the best care of your child as if he or she were my own.
