I come from a Mexican American family, and as the eldest of about 21 grandchildren, I have been expected to look after the younger ones since I was very young. Since then I have baby-sat for a few families, but my experience with children comes from my overall career goals. I am a recent graduate of DePaul University with a major in secondary education with a concentration in social sciences. Due to my overall career goals, I have worked with children as young as a few months at the St. Vincent DePaul Center to seniors in high school as a tutor or as a student teacher. I am comfortable with children of all ages and with most pets. I have CPR and First Aid certification.
