My name is Shannon, I love working with children and pets. I just moved here from Maryland a couple of months ago, to go to school here in Utah. I have attended school in Maryland at my community college for two years, to get my degree in early childhood education. I also received my 40 hours of certification in child development and Behavior and Activities 1 for children. I also have attended and received credit for classes such as American sign language and Nutrition classes. When I lived in Maryland, I had done some baby-sitting around my neighborhood growing up, and about a year ago my sister had a baby, while she was at work, I watched her baby everyday (Starting around 7 with a morning bottle to as late as 12 at night) I truly love children, which is why I plan to get my master in, The arts and science of leadership. So that after a few years of teaching I can even advance to become a principal. My mom and sister are both teachers, So I come from a family that thrives on teaching :)
