I love children. I think they are a joy in many ways. I come from a large family. I am one of eight, five of them are younger than me. I have been baby-sitting since I was 8 years old. I have a younger sister with Down syndrome. Having her in my life has helped me to develop strong patients and understanding toward children. I understand that no two children are the same and all of them need different things. Also, for the past year I have been a nanny for a 1-year-old, she was a newborn when I started caring for her.
