I am in college and have been baby-sitting and a nanny since I was about 12. I love hanging out with kids and helping them with their questions and problems. I have been known to be very understanding with kids (even the wild ones!) and I am very good at explaining guidelines and morals in ways that the children understand and can relate to. I've always gotten along with the kids I baby-sit for and they always ask their parents to have me back to baby-sit, but now most of those kids are too big for baby sitters or are in school. I am very good at becoming their friend and having fun with them while remaining their supervisor and authority of the situation. I have taken two child development classes where I learned about children and went to preschools to help around the classroom. I have also taken some psychology classes where I have learned a lot about children and how to supervise them effectively. I am thinking about majoring in psychology and become a middle school or high school counselor, so the more experience I have with kids the better! Other than my school hours, I am very flexible on times. I am always up for the much needed last minute baby-sitting jobs. I also love cleaning and animals. I have house sat and dog sat for many neighbors and family friends in the past. I am responsible, trustworthy, reliable and love coming up with creative activities and games to play while I baby-sit. I am preferably looking for a regularly scheduled part-time baby-sitting job but I am always willing to do single time baby-sitting. I love playing all kinds of games! I also like playing outside, playing sports (especially soccer and basketball), swimming, any kind of arts and crafts or music, and most of all I love watching cartoons! I also like animals, cleaning and cooking!
