I have had many different nanny positions. My first was with a 6-month-old girl and a 2-year-old girl. After that, I had a nanny position for a family with five children. The ages of the children ranged from two 5-year-old girls, one 7-year-old boy, one 10-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl. My most recent nanny job was for a 4-year-old boy. Besides that, I have volunteered with children many times. This has included working with children in Cambodia; teaching classes to pregnant teenagers, working with homeless teenagers and currently I am volunteering at my church with the five and 6-year-old children. My most current job has been working with teenagers, who are struggling with mental illness and chemical dependency.
I am passionate about working with children and their families because I have seen first hand the need for preventative work with children in the early years. Children have the world at their fingertips; if they get the care that they need and deeply desire.
