I have many years of experience with ages newborn to 12 years old. After receiving my baby sitter's certificate when I was 12, I worked in my church's nursery while baby-sitting on the side for families in the congregation. I've worked with kids ever since then. When I was 15, I was a Nanny for a summer for a 3-month-old baby girl and that's when I decided that I wanted to work with kids the rest of my life. For the last three years, I've baby-sat for numerous families. My fiance and I just recently made a permanent move back to Portland (we both grew up here) but we were living in a college town in Eastern Washington where we volunteered in our church's nursery (infants to 3 years) every week.I'm passionate about taking care of children because it is one thing when a kid gets physically wounded, but it's another thing when his/her spirit gets wounded. I'm a very compassionate person with a loving spirit who genuinely wants to make kids' experience fun and enjoyable, while at the same time implementing boundaries and discipline.
