I have had quite a bit of experience working with kids in the past - I have been involved with and around kids all of my life. I have worked with kids in an educational setting; both in a high school and also in an after-school type program with kids ages 4 to 7. I have studied about childhood development in college level Psychology classes and learned about how to work with kids who have various types of learning differences in a college level Education class.
I also have experience baby-sitting and working with infants and toddlers. Lastly, I have worked with young kids in an athletic setting; teaching them about teamwork, self-confidence and friendship.

I have gained so much from my experiences, both learning about and with kids of all ages, and have found that the most important things are teaching self-confidence, creativity, and encouraging an overall interest in and curiosity for the world around us.
