I am a stay-at-home mom with two boys, ages 3 and 5. My children are very social and engaging, so social interaction would not be a problem! We love having friends over to play with us! Right now I have one full-time position open to children 12 months and up. I have been doing child care in my house for over two years now, and have 15+ years in working with small children. I have an associate degree in early childhood education, am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a portfolio with other numerous certifications along with glowing letters of recommendation. My child care is set up in a business-like manner. I provide each of my parents with a personalized folder for their child which includes a welcome letter, policies, and weekly receipts for tax purposes. Providing families with a safe and happy place for their children to stay while they are at work is important to me, as I know just how precious children are. I will do everything to ensure that your child is happy while in my care. My house is set up specifically for young children. Our playroom offers a variety of play and learning that any child would feel welcome in. We have a reading nook, dramatic play area, gross motor skills climber, and much more. I also have an extra bedroom set up for children to take naps in. I have a pack-n-play with removable sheets to ensure that it's always clean for your child (you're welcome to bring your own as well). I also have a bed for toddlers to nap in. Your child will be able to take that much needed nap in peace and solitude, without the disturbances of outside stimulus. We do arts and crafts, story time, and circle time daily in our library. We sing songs, learn about shapes, colors, numbers, letters, animals, and more! Outside play involves a six-one little tykes playground, sandbox, water-and-sand table, ride-on toys, balls, chalk and tugboat wade pool for especially hot days! I provide a nutritious breakfast and lunch, along with snacks that are appropriate for growing tummies. I also provide milk, juice, and water throughout the day. Anything else specific needed to care for your child is your responsibility (diapers, formulas, canned baby food, etc). My rates are reasonable and my hours are flexible.
