I'm a stay-at-home mom with three children ages 8, 5 and 2. I began baby-sitting when I was 8 years old. My mom used to go to school at night, and I would baby-sit my younger sister. At 9 years old, my brother was born and I would baby-sit him as well. At 11 years old, I would baby-sit my baby cousin after school and by the time I was in high school, I would baby-sit three little girls every Saturday night. When my oldest daughter was about 9 months old, I began baby-sitting again until she was 3 years old. I baby-sat two boys around the same age as my oldest. Then I baby-sat a little girl the same age as my oldest when they were 5 years old. I would pick them both up from school and watch them at my home until her mother picked her up. I always provided meals for them and have everything baby safe. I've continued to baby-sit on and off since then. I'm First Aid and CPR certified. I do have to tell you that I do have to take and pick up my daughters from school (when school is in session) but it's at very short walking distance and I have a two-seat stroller.
