Therese W. - Phoenix Nanny

Profile of Therese W.

Part-Time, 9 Years of Experience

I raised my daughter as a single parent. A former legal assistant, I've always loved children and started working full-time as a nanny in February, 2002. I've averaged two years with each family. The children in my care have been newborn to school age. I have multiples experience, taking care of newborn preemie triplets who required some special care, from birth to two years. I have also served as house manager for several families.

My employment has most often changed when the children have started preschool, and one family moved to Dallas. As a caregiver, I am loving, caring, nurturing, mature, in tune with children's physical, emotional and developmental needs, trustworthy, capable, and responsible. I'm certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and child and infant CPR.

I make sure the children are safe and well taken care of, and I am very good at teaching. I'm happy to do light housekeeping and laundry. I have lots of energy. I'm in excellent health. I multitask well. I'm very organized and can offer you my organizational skills. I have excellent references, and I can provide you with reference letters at an interview. I'm available Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays. Thank you.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I have a music, art, dance and theater background that I incorporate into daily activities with children. I'm a wildlife rehabilitation volunteer and training coordinator. I enjoy reading, hiking, and swimming. I'm writing a children's book.
