I started providing childcare for people in high school and have just stuck with it. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I have been doing in-home child care for the last 5 years. I also home-school my own children and incorporate this into the day of other children in my care. I am always searching for new and interesting ways to educate children while still having a fun time. I am currently going to school to get my Early Childhood Education Certification and eventually a teaching degree in elementary education. I feel that there is a huge lack of safe and affordable childcare now days. I feel that in-home childcare is the best and most educational route to go when looking for childcare. I am able to give children one on one time, so there day just doesn't consist of watching television and coloring or napping. I feel a good start in an awesome childcare setting, sets the stage for the school age years.
