I have more than seven years caring for children of all ages as a teacher and an independent caregiver. I have a natural maternal instinct. I believe in exemplary nurturing of children and complete care. Children learn best through play, art and activity, and not in front of a TV. I feel redirection is the best disciplinary action. Teaching children to use their words and become independent thinkers and doers is accrued through positive reinforcement and appropriate positive modeling. A creative and fun environment at home or away where children can build fine and gross motor skills, social as well as solitary aptness, self esteem, appreciation for diversity and culture, and skill building projects are all necessary tools utilized in my childcare style.
