I have been caring for children of all ages since the age of 12. I started with caring for my nieces and nephews because I am the youngest of eight in my family. Taking care of children come very natural for me. When I turned age 14, I was hired at a summer camp for two years. When I was age 18, I did live-in care for a child that was born with some difficulty. I have worked in three elementary schools and one middle school as a teacher's assistant. I currently have an in-home day care. I really love doing arts and crafts with children, reading to them and taking them on walks. I have a lot of experience with potty training. I am a mother of four children, ages 23, 18, 16, and 13 years old, so I know how hard it can be to leave your precious child in someone else's care. Your child/children will be very safe and happy in my care because I am very nurturing, trustworthy, reliable and respectful. This is a chosen career with no regrets. I have excellent references from past and present parents that I can provide.
