I have been baby-sitting since I was 13 years old and have experience baby-sitting infants up to teens. In high school, I took three child care related classes, including a class in which we ran a preschool three days per week. I have worked in two day care centers for a total of three to four years and volunteered at the nursery at my church for three years. In the summer of 2006, I was a nanny for a family of five children and on occasion, a stepchild was present as well, making it six children. I also was a math tutor during my senior year of high school. I am currently in college pursuing a career in elementary and math education at Drexel University. From September 2008 through March 2009, I worked full time at a small, private school in North Jersey as a part of my college program. I worked under the supervision of other teachers, as well as teaching on my own without supervision. Being with children, just puts a smile on my face. I am very energetic, responsible, and dedicated. I look forward to becoming a teacher and someday a parent.Related Hobbies and Interests
