With over nine years of experience, I have served as a Nanny, care giver, mentor for the daughter of one of my former bosses who in turn became like a best friend or second mom to myself! I cared for her from age 2 until age 7, and also watched her brother who is five years older than she is, during this time. I also worked for many years in a nursery caring for newborns, infants and toddlers, up to six children at a time. I am studying to be a clinical psychologist at the University of Central Florida, and have completed my bachelor's degree, but before working so closely with this amazing little girl, I had no intention of ever working with kids in the field, only adult psychology. Needless to say my focus quickly went to child psychology and I could never imagine working in a different field. I think children are so often lost among the working adult environment and not only need stimulation away from being shoved in front of a TV for hours, but they need developmental assistance, mentoring, and a structured system of stability in their lives to establish a true core foundation of reliability, trust and security that will help in their later lives. But while I have my head on my shoulders and am pursuing my PhD, I'm young, I work hard and have an incredibly fun time doing so! Which is why I can easily balance an environment of responsibility mixed with energy and enthusiasm.

I am passionate about music, writing, drawing, reading, movies and independent films, dancing, sports and the gym, swimming, the beach, laser tag and bowling, Wii, mini golf, cooking and baking, health, fitness..and having fun!
