I've worked in child care since I graduated high school in 2006 (I also baby-sat on a regular basis from seventh grade on up). I was hired by Chesterbrook Academy at the age of 18. I worked at the preschool for close to 16 months before I was asked to be a nanny for one of the children in my class. When I started working for the family, their daughter was 2 and their son just turned 3 months. I stayed with them for about seven months. The children went to preschool due to financial issues. Shortly after, ironically, my next family was (and still is) of another little girl who was in my class as well! I now care for her and her baby brother. In addition to my full-time nanny job, I am also a part-time baby sitter with families that call on me consistently. I LOVE what I do. Caring for children is my second nature!!
