I am a proactive person and a very careful and loving baby-sitter, a proud mother of two children, ages 16 and 22 years old. My main concern is giving children attention, love and care of quality. For two years, I helped with a scout group in Colombia where my two children used to participate, I enjoyed every activity with children ages 4 to 16, including camping, playing, and exercising, etc. Besides, I grew up in a big family of 11 sisters and brothers, which now means 22 nieces and nephews and two great-grandchildren. I have a sweet 2-year-old granddaughter, whom I took care of for the first two months when she was a newborn. As a baby-sitter, I find interesting and challenging to be part of the development of a child's life, giving him/her the basic knowledge for a successful interaction with the world while making them feel comfortable, loved, confident and respected. I love going out with my son to soccer practices and games (he plays soccer at his high school and at a local club). I enjoy other sports as well. I have been in contact with children for more than five years since I had my own business providing meals to day care institutions in Colombia, and helping in group activities. I love newborns, as well as children of all ages. I have occasionally assisted a family with a 4-year-old girl and another family, by taking their 16-year-old girl from school and doctor's appointments over the past two years hear in Orlando, FL. Also, I baby-sit a 1 1/2-year-old girl every now and then. I can help with homework, taking children to any activities, going shopping, or running errands if needed. I enjoy artistic painting, sewing, bike riding, swimming and most outgoing activities. I spent the past month of July in Colombia caring and sharing every minute with my sweet and beautiful granddaughter.
