I love working with kids and I have extensive experience. I am currently a NYC teaching fellow, getting my master's degree in elementary education and special education, and will be teaching full time in the fall. I worked at a non-profit summer camp for six years and eventually directed the camp for one year. I have worked with special needs kids in one-on-one and group situations. I have had lots of experience baby-sitting for kids of all ages. Most recently, I nannied for two families in California, one with children aged 4, 11, and 13, and the other with a 9-month-old and 3-year-old. I am looking for part-time baby-sitting jobs, as I miss spending time with little ones. I am a very energetic caregiver, and always try to activate the imagination rather than sit in front of the television. I am always ready to explore, either throughout the city or in a make-believe fort. I love to read and have a huge collection of children's books that I cart along with me to any baby-sitting job.
