Becoming a nanny was the best career decision I ever made. I have had experience as a public school teacher, day care provider, and tutor, but my real passion is caring for children in their home as a full-time nanny. There's nothing better than watching a child blossom over the course of several years into a fabulous little person! I have had five years of nanny experience and over nine years of baby-sitting experience; this, combined with my time as a teacher and tutor, make me ready to handle anything that a child could throw at me! I've also had the pleasure of working with some wonderful children with disabilities (including physical handicaps, autism, William's syndrome, and other learning difficulties), and I would welcome the challenge of a large family. I am currently seeking positions in Manhattan; I will be moving there on October 1st, and have found a wonderful family for whom I will be working full-time. However, I would still like to build my baby-sitting client base to bring in a little extra income (Manhattan isn't cheap!).
