I am an experienced nanny/baby-sitter who has a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am on hiatus due to the economy from completing the last two semesters of my degree in elementary education (only student teaching left). I love children and have been disappointed in some of the other nannies I have seen at different nanny hot spots like the park or Jamboree. They seem like they are not happy to be there, and I know that I could do it better. I think if a child is talking to you or wants to tell you something, they deserve your undivided attention (barring extenuating circumstances). Their little story is important to them and they deserve to have you listen, and act like it is the best thing ever. I adore being a nanny and do it quite well- and being with kids- what better job is there!! I am free all hours needed, with no children or spouse to get in the way- extremely flexible. I am a non-smoker and major pet lover, so pets are no problem!
