My whole life I have enjoyed being around and working with children which is why I am currently attending college to obtain an elementary education degree. I nannied for a family during the summer months of 2008. I have taken a child psychology course which gave me the opportunity to work with children and learn more about them. I learned about common behaviors in children, how to handle those behaviors using positive and negative reinforcement, and creating age appropriate activities. For three summers I was involved in a cheerleading kids clinic where we taught cheers, played games together, and created friendships. I have experience with babysitting and volunteering my time with children which is why I believe that I am capable of taking on a positive and safe nanny role.
