Hello, my name is Carol.

I am a 61-year-young woman who has been in the nanny and child care profession since 1977. I have had other professions in my lifetime, including holding a real estate license, as well as working as a supervisor for a major N.Y.C. law firm. By far, taking care of children has been the most rewarding. I ran my own in-home day care. Since 1998, I have been registered with a nanny agency based in Orlando, Florida. Since moving from Orlando to the west coast of Central Florida, working for the agency has been difficult due to the commute. I still work with my agency, but on a per-diem basis. I registered with Care.Com in order to find work a little closer to home.

I have excellent references and a strong work ethic. I am dependable, prompt, and have always been willing to go over and above what is expected of me. My experience includes caring for newborns (including multiples), toddlers, premature infants with special needs, and school-aged children as well. I have held positions with families with multiple children. As my references will show, I have handled every aspect of their care. Since I love children, and have raised six of my own, I care for those children as if they were my own.

I live in the Spring Hill/Brooksville area of Central Florida. I am willing to commute up to 30 miles for the right position. I have commuted much further, and never showed up late.

Being a mother who needed quality child care in my life, I understand what a challenge it is to find good, reliable, child care, which is why I take my responsibilities extremely seriously. I know the feeling of concern, as I left my children with a day care provider. I try to make the families I work for feel secure leaving their children in my care. I am available on short notice, for overnights, weekends, and during the daytime. Newborns and toddlers are my passion, but I am equally qualified in caring for school-aged children as well. I have new, reliable transportation, a safe driving record and references, which I will, of course, provide during an interview. I am a full-charge nanny, but will provide the care that each individual family requires as I know that each family has different needs. Thank You, Carol
