I have been program coordinator at the California Science Center, camp counselor at Space Camp (Florida and California) and I have volunteered coaching auxiliaries, tutoring in science and math and scouting over seas. I am a natural at relating to children and received commendations from parents, teachers and school-aged children. I aspire to write children's stories, films and programs. I can research any topic and create hands-on activities tailored to budget or objective. For several jobs since 1991, and because my sister is in the military, I had to get background checks and security clearances (I will do so again if employer wishes to pay for the service). Children are just little people and every moment is a learning chance, as a care giver I am very aware of being a role model. I love going to museums, parks, zoos and libraries. I love making learning fun. I'm a big fan of the space program, the outdoors: water skiing/rafting, camping/hiking, astronomy, skiing, horseback riding, bicycling, photography/videography.
