I just recently moved to Los Angeles and am living in the Silverlake/Atwater Village area. I have a B. A. from the University of Kansas and have started my graduate studies towards an M. A. in School Counseling. I will be attending Loyola Marymount in the fall to complete my masters.

I have experience working in the school system as I completed a term of service with Americorps in Salinas, CA. There, I worked in an elementary school providing one-on-one literacy tutoring to 11 students daily.

In Kansas I worked with several families with children of various ages from babies to preteens and including children with special needs. I love working with kids and am passionate about creating relationships that foster learning and confidence! I have extremely flexible availability, my own transportation, and great references.
