I have worked at a local day care provider on the mainland for two years as a Group Supervisor. During the time, I became certified in infant and child CPR and First Aid. My training also consisted of courses in child development, behavioral techniques, nutrition and hygiene and fire safety. At the day care I enjoyed getting to know each child and watching them grow and develop their own unique personality. A large part of my job was creating weekly lesson plans, activities, and crafts. Providing child care is very fulfilling for me. I know how difficult it can be for parents to entrust someone else to care for their children.
