I have an unlimited amount of child care experience that I've acquired from childhood all the way up until now. While I was a child, my mother started a day care in our home, so I have been around children most of my life. I used to always help her with the day care all the way through my high school years. Caring for children was my mother's passion, and I know it is also mine. Recently, I've been a nanny to three wonderful children in their home; the youngest is a 9-year-old boy. There is also a 14-year-old boy, and the oldest is a 16-year-old girl who is severely autistic and needs most everything done for her. The only reason I've chosen to leave this family is because I am needing full-time hours now, and they are unable to offer this. Before that, I obtained experience working with infants and toddlers, which I have references for. In addition to that, I have also done a few baby-sitting jobs through nanny services. I am very flexible with hours and times, which means I'm available whenever needed. I also am currently enrolled in UMKC, majoring in child psychology. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and abuse and neglect prevention. I am also legally medically certified. I enjoy working with children, whether they be physically or mentally disabled or fully healthy. I am very excited about meeting a new family and getting to know your children.
