I have always loved being around children and am currently very involved in my six grandchildren's lives. However, we all need to make a living. I have worked around Kansas City as a nanny for several years and in particular was a nanny for a family expecting their first child. I was with that family for one year as a full time nanny and then sat with the child occasional evenings or when needed and available. When the second child came, I returned to work for them on a full time basis for another year. I continued to sit for the children on occasion until the family moved to Columbia as the mother wanted to continue her education. I even now continue to be in contact with them.
