As a current nursing student, I am confident in the fact that I have a deep interest in caring for others and devoting myself to doing so. I love kids and I hope that after I earn my degree I will be working in pediatrics. I have been baby-sitting since the eighth grade. I feel very comfortable around children of all ages. I spent this past summer working at YMCA Camp Lakewood where I was with kids for 24 hours a day for three whole months. I have also been working at the KC Urban Youth Center where I tutor/read to kids or just hang out and play with them. I have been faced with a variety of challenges, I know how to keep kids entertained and I love to have fun!
