Hello and thank you for reading our posting! My husband and I are having our first baby in November and we are considering our childcare options, including a full-time nanny who will work out of our home Monday to Friday. I work from home on Fridays and sometimes on other days, however, because of the nature of my job I will need help even when I am home. Our hours are fairly flexible if we discuss in advance but a typical work day for us is 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. Our home is very cozy and sunny with two beautiful courtyards, as well as a private gated neighborhood pool across the street. These private streets are great for walks and we are close to the center of San Ramon. My husband and I are ideally looking for someone who has had children and for someone who speaks fluent Spanish, which we would prefer to be the primary language of communication with our baby. I am half Chilean and would like our baby to be fluent in Spanish and English so I would like someone who takes the time to nurture, teach, read and play with our baby. While I would love to be home, my husband and I both work quite a bit because he is also in school full-time so our schedules are demanding. We want to find a nanny who is part of our household and who is loving and who can be flexible on occasion. Regarding activities and driving, we would like to see driving records and we would also like references. If you have any questions about us or any concerns, we will be conducting in-person interviews so feel free to ask! Our full-time care will begin in May or June 2013 so we have some time but I thought that this might give us both time to plan ahead.
