Part-Time Infant Care

I am looking for an honest and reliable person who loves children, to watch my baby girl occasionally. Someone who wants to develop a bond with her and not just come and go when needed. Between her father's schedule and my schedule, it breaks down to roughly two days a week, and sometimes not quite that much. We also have roughly a two-hour period from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. , two mornings a week that will vary that we would occasionally need someone, as I go in to work at 8 a.m. and her father is home by 9:30 a.m. Right now my father-in-law is watching her on those morning but may have an appointment or other arrangement that may not allow him to do so. Leaving my baby (she is almost 9 months old) with a stranger is very hard for me. I will be upfront in saying that I am going to be very picky and have tons of questions for anyone who is interested. I will need to contact references. CPR certified is a plus. We have been lucky up to now to have her grandpa watching her, but unfortunately his availability has changed. It hurts me that I am not able to be the one to stay home with her, but I am hoping I can find someone who will be a wonderful addition to my daughter's life. I need someone who believes life is what you make of it and always sees the positive side of life. Someone who can separate the negative things going on in their life from the time they are with my child. I do not ever want her to feel anger or stress. I also need someone who is will to attend and focus on her all day; she should not be left to cry, fussiness is expected occasionally as she grows to challenge everything. I will also require keeping track of feedings, activity, and diaper changes until we get to know you and believe you are taking the best care possible of our baby girl. Again, days will vary but the time will be consistent with my work hours, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Some days it may only be from 8-1, when her grandmother would come over to watch her. You should also know I have three dogs, and all are very friendly, so you must be comfortable with animals.
