Looking For Live-In "Parents' Helper," Starting January 1st, 2010

Philadelphia,  PA  19146
Friday, 1/1/2010 through
Saturday, 1/1/2011

Please ask me to send you the FULL description... there is a word limit on Care.com.
We are a fun, young and loving family with a 3-year-old daughter and 5-month-old boy/girl twins. Mom is at home and needs help with child-related duties on a flex-schedule. This is more of a "parents' helper" position than a full-time nanny as you will rarely/never be expected to provide sole care for all three kids!
Live in a great home in Center City, with no rent, utilities or grocery expenses. Make extra cash, and have a flexible schedule as well!
Compensation and Benefits:
Room, Board and $200/week provided by employer in exchange for child care assistance from employee.
Room: Private bedroom with queen bed, two dressers, television with cable, night table, walk-in closet, desk, internet
Board: Includes all utilities costs, general household toiletries, and all meals. Weekly payments for child care will be made every Friday.
(Abriged) Duties:
1) #1 Priority- Interact with our children!
2) Take kids to preschool and activities/play attractions.
3) Help keep home clean, neat and organized (put away toys and clothes, help clean up kitchen after meals, empty and fill dishwasher, etc.)
4) Help with feedings/changings. Although twins are pretty much sleeping through the night, this may include helping mom with occasional feedings when they awaken during the night.
5) Help get kids dressed and bath time.
6) Be perceptive and when there is something that needs to be done, or a child that needs attending to, just jump in (or ask if you aren't sure)!
Employee required to provide copies of the following:
1) Medical insurance
2) PA Child Abuse Certification
3) PA Criminal Background Check
4) Valid driver's license
5) Child/Infant CPR and First Aid
We DO NOT have pets.
This position requires very little night/weekend time, and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to live in Center City and travel on some weekends.
Are you the right person to join our family? If so, please respond back with:
1) Childcare experience in chronological order.
2) Educational background, and any special skills or experience.
3) Why you are looking for a child care position.
Candidates must: Speak fluent English, be a non-smoker, be 21 years of age or older, be willing to complete a background check and pass a drug screening.
I am NOT INTERESTED in an Au-Pair agency.
