Hello!

I am looking for a part-time nanny. We are a family of 4 living in outer southeast Portland. I am a hairdresser and my partner works in support for the Apple iPhone. I have an 11-year-old son and an infant son and am looking for someone to be an in-home live-out caretaker for my baby.

The job would be part-time, 2 days a week, possibly expanding to 3 if my partner's work schedule changes. The hours would be approximately 10:30 or 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The job could possibly expand to bringing the baby to my work for visits and picking up my 11-year-old from school on those 2 afternoons.

I am basing the times I will need childcare on my partner's schedule, which changes slightly every 3 months. I can pretty much guarantee that the days will always be Wednesday and Thursday with the possibility of Tuesday, but the hours on those days may waver. There are times that I will work later into the evening, and times when I will work the odd Monday, so it would be cool (but not absolutely necessary) if you were flexible enough to be able to nanny on odd days as well.

What we are ultimately looking for is someone we can trust with our very small boy, someone who has a good amount of previous experience taking care of infants - whether by having babies of your own or previous nannying experience. We need someone with an ironclad work ethic, as we both are very devoted to our own work. Please have reliable transportation and be punctual.
