I currently own/operate a children's faith-based summer camp for third through 12th graders. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. I have administrated a faith-based preschool, overseeing and implementing state licensing requirements, hiring and managing teachers and other staff, helping with curriculum and hands-on assessment and training for teachers and staff. I have managed a summer daycare program for ages 3-11, planning field trips, implementing curriculum, hiring staff, training staff, parent communications, and all related administrative duties. I have been a caregiver to toddlers in my home for several families. I am a certified American Red Cross Infant/Child CPR and First Aid instructor. I am a parent of twin boys and, as such, volunteer to help with all their school activities, sports, boy scouts, music lessons, etc. Nothing is more important than wholly nurturing a child so that they grow to become kind, intelligent, compassionate, responsible adults.
