Hi, my name is Jennifer. I have over eight years of experience in child care. I am a very easygoing, patient, and fun person, who loves kids. I have been taking care of my 3-year-old nephew since he was born. I watch him when his parents work, and at any other time they need child care. I have taken care of him overnight, for weekends, and various weeks when his parents are out of town. I have also been taking care of a 2 and 6 years old, from time to time, for a family, when needed. As a teenager, I did a lot of baby-sitting for family and friends.

I love taking the children to the zoo, water parks, amusement parks, and museums. I also enjoy taking them to children's movies and the library. I love reading to children, making arts and crafts, coloring, and painting. I like doing outdoor things with them, such as: swimming, bike riding, going to parks, baseball, soccer, and much more.

I have also been working as a dance instructor for the past four years for 3 to 14-year-olds, and as an assistant before that, for two years. I find teaching 3 to 9-year-olds is so much fun, because they have so much energy and enthusiasm for learning and dance. This past summer, I ran a day camp, for children of all ages, at the dance studio. I provided dance instruction, did arts and crafts, played games, had activities, and much more.

I love being a nanny because I find it to be so much fun and rewarding. I love to watch young children learn and discover new things and be so excited about their accomplishments. Others are always complimenting me on how much patience I have with children. I find that being patient and listening to children allows us to enjoy each other and learn from each other. I have a lot of energy, and am happy doing things with children, whether it be staying at home or being on the go. I like to do things with them that brings out their creativity, and to watch their individual personalities develop. I want to encourage children to be outgoing, creative, and self-assured individuals. My goal is to be respected for what I do, and to have children look up to me.

I love the outdoors. I love to bike ride, play tennis, hike, swim, snowboard, ski, and go to the beach. I have traveled to Europe, Mexico, Canada, and all over the U.S.A. I also like to bake and cook.
