Technically, I'm still a kid myself, but it makes it sufficient when it comes to caring for children. I can play with them as if I was a kid again, but I can also take on the responsibility to watch them and make sure everything they are doing is safe. Since I was about age 14, my best friend's mom would always call me to come over and watch her little boy rather than her own daughter. She trusted me with her child because I was a lot more mature. Her son is almost 12 years old now, and she still calls me to watch him sometimes. About a year ago, another one of my best friends had a baby boy. She was only age 18, so of course, it was hard on her with working and all. When she was at work and I wasn't busy, she would always have me watch him. It was about since he was 4 months to now, and he is almost 2 years old. I think the more experience I get will help me with my future goal, which is to become a neonatal nurse. I have always wanted to take care of sick and healthy infants. I enjoy just making them happy and seeing them smile.
