I have spent my whole life caring for children. I baby-sat through my teen years constantly, and now I am 53. I had three kids and then I adopted eight more. Right now, I have five teenagers at home and a 10-year-old with ADHD. I also watch a 3-year-old part-time. I take care of an elderly woman who has lived with me for two years but is at the end of her life, so we're going through the whole hospice program. This may sound like a lot, but you'd be surprised how quiet it is around here. My high school kids are a big help. I would like to watch someone's mother who needs help or companionship. Either living with me or I could go over for a few hours a day or I could watch a couple more children. I will have a pool, so if they don't already know how to swim, I will be teaching them. We are moving back to Hudsonville after three years in Arizona. We had an elderly lady living with us that I took care of 24/7. I also watched a 3-year-old. I have 11 children, eight are adopted.
