I have been baby-sitting since I was 12 years old for many families with children ranging from newborn to 13 years of age. For the past two years, prior to leaving for college, I had been baby-sitting two days per week for a family from our church, with six children. The children range in age from 2 weeks old through 11 years old. When I was 12, I was Red Cross certified as a baby-sitter, which included learning child and infant CPR, and general First Aid.
