Hi! I have had a number of experiences with children since I was 15 years old. Initially, I started baby-sitting for family members and children in my neighborhood. I am a very active person (I have played soccer and been in gymnastics since I was 3 years old) and that is reflected in my baby-sitting style. I love to play games, run around the playground, do arts and crafts, dance to fun music, etc. However, at the same time, I appreciate the need for down time and love to read stories with lots of fun voices. I graduated in 2005 from Illinois State University with a double-major degree in kinesiology and recreation with a minor in business. In addition to my degree, I have had a vast amount of experience in recreation. I have been involved in recreation at the planning, programming, and facilitating level, and for children aged 24 months to 15 years old. In addition, I have been a gymnastics coach with Special Olympics since 2003. I am fun, energetic, responsible and reliable. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
