I is a good thing to spend time with your spouse. If you don't do quality time with each other, you will lose each other. It is so important. Yes, your kids are impotant, but if you don't keep the comunications open with the two adults in the family, the children will feel lost and insecure. It is our jobe to help them feel secure and protected. Hey, that is what I did as a Mom raising my children.

Now that our children are grown my husband and I have date nights babysitting a set of twins I took care of as a Nanny. We love playing with the twins a bit before their bedtime and then we will have dinner and watch a movie. Just as good as going out to a restaurant and paying for the entertainment. It's a cheap date night for us and it let's the parents have a "free" date night out as well.

Date Night is something we have to put on the calendar. It has to be scheduled so we will go. This has been missing lately but I know that time is important to both of us to spend quality time together without the girls. It rejuvenates us and gives us strength. Lately, we even spend date night home...just in..no interruptions and after everyone is asleep-we plan a late night dinner and movie-or squeak out for ice cream:)

Hey kids, let's send mommy and daddy away so we can have a play night!

Be creative and make it fun for the kids then it's a win-win situation for both parents and children! The parents come back refreshed from their date night, the children are happy because they had a fun evening and the caregiver goes home exhausted from giving 100 percent attention to the children!

if you and your spouse do not spend some quality time with each other you will both get stressed out and end up in a divorce all work and no play is not good for a couple

Your shouldn't feel guilty or uncomfortable that pay someone care your baby,Because you and your husband should have more quiet time for each other to keep your marriage fresh.it is very important!!! leave DIVORCE away!give you and your children a complete happiness family.

This video is so true!!! Date night is so important - my husband and I aim for at least once a month, and I so look forward to that time alone with him. We have 4 children and to say that time alone with each is a treasure would be an understatement!!!

That very true because you and your husband need to spend time together so that u can work on ur marriage so that you make sure you work out every little thing that is bothering you.by doing that your children will be alright and happy and have fun with their caretaker too. Everybody will be happy and live happily ever after.

It's good for the kids, because happy parents are better, more patient parents. It's also good for them because they experience other kinds of adults who relate to them more as individuals and less as "my kids." So no guilt! It's a gift!

We had our first "date-night" out in over two years,since our son was born, last Saturday night. I can tell you from experience,that a couple's relationship suffers greatly if you both don't spend at least 2 quality nights away from the kids!! Our schedules are different,he works nights and sleeps days and i work days. So we rarely get time to ourselves. And yes, our relationship has suffered,unfortunately. But we are on the road to patching things up,now that we found a babysitter! :)

yes it's all so very true that you need to spend a one one with your spouse to ensure that you are still in love with him and the marriage is great.but at the same time let the children know that you love them as well and set an appointment for the family to go on an outing too.such as a movie,vacation to the country,where it's all peace and quiet.
